Prayers and Praises

We want our business to be more than just about selling clothes. We want to make an impact in the world and be and lift each other up. God says that when two or more are gathered together He is there. It is our hope that you feel comfortable enough to share a praise or prayer with us so that we can lift you up in prayer.

  • How many times do we go thru difficulties, trials, temptations, etc… and turn to others for strength and comfort, or even ourselves? God has promised that He will always be there with us and to seek Him as He is the only true source of peace, comfort, and strength. He loved us so much that He sent his only son to die on the cross to save us from our sins. It is done! When we stray, we can come to Him and He forgives because of His son Jesus! When we feel distant from God, He hasn’t changed…. we have changed…. His mercy and grace endures forever! Thanks be to God!

  • Hi All!
Just wanted to share my first prayer and praises blog post today! I was reading this today and it was a great reminder to me today that everytime I expect someone to meet my needs, expectations, etc…. other than God I will be disappointed AND it takes my eyes and focus off HIM. I need this as a constant reminder to always trust in Jesus for EVERYTHING! That doesn’t mean I will have ALL my WANTS met! However, he WILL meet all my NEEDS!

“And now, Lord, what do I wait for and expect? My hope and expectation are on you.” (Psalm 39:7)

What is the VOID you are trying to fill today? Mine was an unmet expectation of a friend. So much of our lives are built on what we believe to be TRUE of ourselves, and others. We are constantly in an inner dialogue that tells us to gauge our reactions off of how other people act.

Truth be told: what if others limitations never spoke to our self-worth. Instead, what if, the burden of expectation that we placed on others was replaced with our expectations of Jesus. Expect and wait on God to fill the empty voids that others have created. This leads us to a narrative that is always overflowing with HIM. We need to remind ourselves time and time again that our needs can not be met by the people in our lives, but only by HIM. Let’s release those people of the burdensome expectations and be filled with the HOPE that can only come from him.

“And now, Lord, what do I wait for and expect? My hope and expectation are on you.” (Psalm 39:7)

Don’t forget that I want to pray for you! So leave a prayer or praise right here and I will pray for you! Hope you are blessed by this today!
